Help Omondi keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
The Community Pantry pantry in Kasarani is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 188 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 37% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kasarani market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $210
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $140
• Baby formula and diapers: $55
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
