Octavian was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in June. The oncology team at București Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Octavian is 40, worked as a construction supervisor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to București Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $510
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Household costs while unable to work: $370
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $220
