Océane was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in March. The surgeon at Lille Community Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $4,100 short.
my wife has been in and out of Lille Community Hospital since March. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Océane struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
