Help Obinna replace the transmission and return to work
Obinna drives for a living in Lagos, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 8 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 8 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $100 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Labor charges: $25
• Towing and inspection: $40
If you're reading this, thank you.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Obinna.
It's all in the list in the story. road tax and insurance renewal is the big one at $35, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Appreciate you taking the time.

Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
