Help Nur keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Yogyakarta.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 211 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 32% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Yogyakarta market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $180
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $130
• Baby formula and diapers: $95
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
I hope life is good to you.
