Help Nova with an overdue electricity bill before the rainy season
A disconnection notice for electricity arrived and Nova needs $850 before October.
🇺🇸 Florida, United States2,546 views
The electricity account is 2 months behind. Nova received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $850 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Nova called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $170 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Nova is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Nova's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $850 goes:
• Utility arrears: $640
• Reconnection and late fees: $55
• Down payment on a payment plan: $155
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you the best, Sebastian. Looking forward to the next update. It's not much but it's yours
Take care, Sebastian. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Sebastian. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Don't give up
Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 12 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Miami.
