Help Nour keep the Open Hands Pantry pantry stocked
The Open Hands Pantry pantry in Laval is running low just as demand rises; $3,350 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 219 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 49% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Laval market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,200
• Baby formula and diapers: $420
• Refrigeration and electricity: $230
