Is it paid to the wholesaler directly?
It comes to me first, then I pay the wholesaler myself and upload the receipt. I wouldn't be comfortable any other way. It helps to be asked.
Great idea, hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours.
Any chance of seeing the shopping receipts?
wishing you peace, Nora. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Blessings.
Is rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) is $2,300 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Ask me anything else.
hope things get better soon. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Greetings from Duisburg
When does the money need to be there?
Yes August is the real date. I'm working on a few other things at the same time but this is the main hurdle. Thanks for asking.
rooting for you, Nora. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 6 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Besides donating, would sharing help or is something else more useful?
Thank you. If you're in Fresno I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Let me know if you want more detail.
Thinking of you and your family, Nora. Shared it with a few friends. Please keep us posted
How is Nora doing now?
Great idea, hope you get there. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Saint Petersburg
Good luck. Hope this works out for you. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Take care
Stay strong. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Our local mosque has an emergency fund, might be worth asking them
Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care
