The heating account is 2 months behind. Noémie received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless $750 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Noémie called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $140 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Noémie is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
