The gas account is 3 months behind. Nitin received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Nitin called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Nitin is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
