Help Nisha replace the gearbox and return to work
Nisha drives for a living in Varanasi, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 8 weeks.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $150 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• gearbox replacement (parts): $95
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
