Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 228 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mumbai market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $250
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $115
• Baby formula and diapers: $60
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25
Every share and every dollar helps.

hope things get better soon, Nisha. More neighborhoods should do this
Wishing you the best, Nisha. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Makati
Keep going, Nisha. I hope things turn around soon. All the best!
