Help Nirali keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Nirali runs a volunteer pantry feeding 86 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 86 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Tiruchirappalli market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $190
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85
• Baby formula and diapers: $45
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
