Larysa, my sister, passed away on 15 December after complications from pneumonia. She was 37 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 December. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Larysa to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Kyiv hospice. Where the $850 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $510 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $145 • Transport of the deceased: $110 • Memorial gathering for the family: $85 Every share and every dollar helps.
