Saowaluk, my wife, passed away on 7 July after a short illness. She was 62 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Saowaluk to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Bangkok hospice.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $330
• Transport of the deceased: $40
• Memorial gathering for the family: $120
