After a benign brain tumor, Nihal was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Nihal was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at İzmir General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,750, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,200 short.
my sister has been in and out of İzmir General Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Nihal struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Nihal won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.

Sure. The biggest one is hospital stay (2 nights), $980. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
