Help Nida keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Rawalpindi is running low just as demand rises; $200 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 383 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rawalpindi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $200 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $95
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $65
Thank you for reading my story.
