I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $250 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $155 • Labor charges: $60 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $25 • Towing and inspection: $10 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Nicole

Updates from Nicole

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 28% funded and the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. - Nicole

  2. Thank you all. We're at 72% now ($180). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nicole
