Help Nicolás start the school year with the right tools
Nicolás won a place at Ciudad de México Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Ciudad de México Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $350, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $350 goes:
• Laptop: $180
• School uniform and shoes: $60
• Textbooks and workbooks: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40
Every share and every dollar helps.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nicolás!
Sure. The biggest one is laptop, $180. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
Wishing you peace, Nicolás. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Cầu Giấy but we're thinking of you
Thinking of you, Nicolás. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless!
