Help Nicolas replace the transmission and return to work
Without my pickup Nicolas cannot work; a $300 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $300 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $180
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $20
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Good luck, Nicolas. Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Rabat.
Wishing you peace, Nicolas. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nicolas!
Transmission replacement (parts) is $180 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
Hope things get better soon. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My husband and I read this together. Love from Manchester
You're not alone, Nicolas. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Rabat.
Stay strong. Hope you make a strong comeback. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Rabat
Thinking of you, Nicolas. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Hope you make a strong comeback. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Rabat.
