Ngân was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at the Cần Thơ Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Ngân is 32, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Cần Thơ Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
