Help Nenita keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked
Nenita runs a volunteer pantry feeding 147 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of a community center. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 147 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 53% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Quezon City market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $350 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $20
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $260
• Baby formula and diapers: $70
Thanks for reading all this.

Wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Quezon City.
Hope things get better soon, Nenita. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Rabat so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Nenita. Shared this with my family. I hope November is when things finally get easier. All the best
