Help Naveed finish a nursing degree at Rawalpindi State College - $550 to go
A first-generation student, Naveed needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.
🇵🇰 Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan358 views
Naveed is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Rawalpindi State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550.
The registrar has said Naveed can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Naveed has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Naveed would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Naveed isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $210
• Final term tuition: $280
• Exam and lab fees: $10
• Textbooks and materials: $50
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
