The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Nathan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $700 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in August.
Nathan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $80 first, which isn't available.
The household includes three children under ten, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Nathan is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Nathan's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
