Help Nathan keep the the Second Helping pantry stocked
The the Second Helping pantry in Worcester is running low just as demand rises; $1,700 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 133 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Worcester market and keep every receipt.
Each $60 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $660
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $530
• Baby formula and diapers: $360
• Refrigeration and electricity: $150
