Natalie has worked and saved for three years to study a teaching qualification; a $5,400 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Natalie is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Brooklyn Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,400.
The registrar has said Natalie can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Natalie has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Natalie would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Natalie isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $5,400 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,650
• Final term tuition: $3,350
• Exam and lab fees: $210
• Textbooks and materials: $190
