Cairo
Samir, my father, passed away on 28 September after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 56 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Samir to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $200 goes: • Memorial gathering for the family: $30 • Transport of the deceased: $35 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $135 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
