Help Nasrin start the school year with the right tools
Nasrin won a place at the Narayanganj Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at the Narayanganj Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $50 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
Thank you so much.

wishing you the best, Nasrin. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Narayanganj.
Sending strength, Nasrin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
