Nasrin is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at the Bogra Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450.
The registrar has said Nasrin can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Nasrin has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Nasrin would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Nasrin isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Bogra Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
