Help Naoki pay for cataract surgery at Kitakyushu Community Hospital
A scheduled cataract surgery in July is out of reach without help covering $5,250 of the cost.

Naoki was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in May. The surgeon at Kitakyushu Community Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $5,250 short.
my father has been in and out of Kitakyushu Community Hospital since May. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Naoki struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Naoki won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. post-operative medication is the biggest at $290. It helps to be asked.
