Maple is my cat of six years. On 17 August we rushed to Johannesburg Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Maple is more than a pet - Maple is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Johannesburg Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
