Naliaka lost her mother suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $700.

Nancy, my mother, passed away on 29 August after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 80 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Nancy to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Embakasi hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $650
• Memorial gathering for the family: $20
