The water account is 3 months behind. Nafula received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in June.
Nafula called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through winter without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Nafula is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
