Help Nadine keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked
Nadine runs a volunteer pantry feeding 235 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 235 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 45% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Munich market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $125
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,850
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $725
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sure. The biggest one is refrigeration and electricity, $125. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Appreciate you taking the time.
