Help Muthoni pay for gallbladder removal at Saint Joseph Hospital
A scheduled gallbladder removal in March is out of reach without help covering $500 of the cost.

Muthoni was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in November. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and She is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $830, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $500 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since November. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $830 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Muthoni struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Muthoni won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
