Barasa passed away on 7 September; we are raising $500 for a respectful funeral in Kampala.

Barasa, my father, passed away on 7 September after a stroke. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 15 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Barasa to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $500 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $140
• Transport of the deceased: $35
• Funeral home services and casket: $325
