Help Mussa keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Entebbe is running low just as demand rises; $200 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a community center. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 279 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 43% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Entebbe market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $200 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $120
• Baby formula and diapers: $30
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $50
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

More neighborhoods should do this. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Take care
