Murugan lost his wife suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $950.

Nandini, my wife, passed away on 6 August after a stroke. She was 49 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Nandini to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $620
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $210
• Transport of the deceased: $25
• Memorial gathering for the family: $95
