Help Mohit keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Mohit runs a volunteer pantry feeding 121 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Saturday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 121 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 42% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mangaluru market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $125
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $160
• Baby formula and diapers: $45
• Refrigeration and electricity: $70
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Praying for you, Mohit. Looking forward to the next update
Thinking of you, Mohit. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Mangaluru
Great idea, hope you get there. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
Rooting for you. More neighborhoods should do this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
good luck, Mohit. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. After 18 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
so sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Gulu.
You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings
