Cairo
Nasser, my brother, passed away on 23 September after a road accident. He was 39 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Nasser to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $300 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $140 • Transport of the deceased: $90 • Memorial gathering for the family: $70 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending love, Mohammed. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Madrid but we're thinking of you.
