Huyền, my grandmother, passed away on 23 December after a stroke. She was 33 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 January.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Huyền to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Hải Phòng hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $660
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $250
• Transport of the deceased: $65
• Memorial gathering for the family: $25
