Help Miles get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Miles served ten years in the army; $5,350 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.
🇨🇦 Ontario, Canada2,685 views
Cooper served ten years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $5,350.
Cooper is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $5,350 goes:
• Training provider fees: $3,300
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,250
• Transport to appointments: $460
• Essential household items: $340
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
