The gas account is 2 months behind. Michele received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $400 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Michele called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $130 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Michele is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
