Max is my tabby kitten of nine years. On 29 August we rushed to the Messina Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750. They have stabilized Max, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Max is more than a pet - Max walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Messina Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,750 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,200 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $210 • Medication and follow-up visits: $155 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $185 Thanks for reading all this.
