Help Michael save Buddy - surgery needed
A rescue greyhound named Buddy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $2,700 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United StatesPosted May 24, 20264,058 views
Buddy is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 23 April we rushed to the San Jose Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,700.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the San Jose Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Buddy's recovery.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,450
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $770
• Medication and follow-up visits: $270
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $210
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
