Help Michael replace the clutch assembly and return to work
Michael drives for a living in Newcastle upon Tyne, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 5 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $850. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $850 goes:
• Labor charges: $160
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $600
• Towing and inspection: $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in London this morning. Blessings.
Stay strong, Michael. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Newcastle upon Tyne
sending love, Michael. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
