Help Michael pay for septoplasty at Tema University Hospital
After a herniated spinal disc, Michael was cleared for septoplasty, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Michael was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in November. The surgeon at Tema University Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for January. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $900 short.
my brother has been in and out of Tema University Hospital since November. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Michael struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Michael won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $900 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $360
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $310
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $50
• Post-operative medication: $35
• Physiotherapy sessions: $125
• Travel and lodging for the family: $20

So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Bacolod this morning.
