Help Michael lay Derek to rest with dignity in Auckland
Derek passed away on 9 November; we're raising $3,700 for a respectful funeral in Auckland.

Derek, my uncle, passed away on 9 November after complications from pneumonia. He was 90 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 16 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Derek to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Auckland hospice.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,300
• Transport of the deceased: $450
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $950
