Anaheim
Michael is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at the Anaheim Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,750. The registrar has said Michael can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Michael has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Michael would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Michael isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Anaheim Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,750 goes: • Final term tuition: $1,250 • Exam and lab fees: $140 • Textbooks and materials: $360 Thanks for being kind about this.
