Merve was diagnosed with cervical cancer in January. The oncology team at Bursa Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Merve is 55, worked as a tailor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bursa Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
